Microsoft product key?

I just got a labtop that is brand new and I went to open the Microsoft office (vista) and a box says I need a product key and if i dont know where to locate it to press the ? mark, so I did and a pop up box says " locate product key trial or purchase ;and I didn't do either of them. I thought new computers automatically came with Micro. office already downloaded. Please help. tell me where to look for it at...in the manual? I have not Idea

The software is usually installed from a master CD, to save time the manufacturer won't go through and enter the individual license keys for all the software, so yes it will be loaded, but it isn't necessarily "activated".

Have a look on the bottom of the laptop, you will probably find a sticker on there that will list the windows key, and that may also have the MS office key on it. Otherwise, look through the manuals and disks you received with the PC, there should either be an MS office "license agreement" or an MS office CD that will have the key on it. Failing that, you will have to go back to the shop your bought it from and query it with them.
if there is a original windows cd it must be on the cd.If not , it must be somewhere on your laptop maybe right or left side maybe under side

Product key is on the CD jewel case. If you did not get a CD and case then you did not get Office.
