Microsoft Word (07) question?

Is there a way to make a custom document size on Microsoft Word? like, to make the size of flashcards cut in half...

I could do a complex method of printing, but i would prefer something more convenient.

Microsoft Word (07) question?antivirus programs

Yes there is:

in page setup you can choose a custom paper size.

what this will do is alter the ruler sizes on the screen of your blank document in word.

It will not affect printing, that is in print setup.

Click -File - page setup -Paper tab - scroll the drop down to custom size.

Yes, the best way is to cheat the printer.

New document.

Tools/ Envelopes and Labels

Select the Labels tab

Select OPTIONS

Select Avery 5315

Click NEW DOCUMENT

Voila, your 8 1/2 x 11 page is now set into 4 each 3x5 cards
File, Page setup, Paper, Paper Size Dropdown, select ''Custom'', fill in the dimensions of your custom document. You may also want to adjust the ''Margins'' and portrait/landscape settings to fine-tune what you want.

Bert
why don't you try MS Publisher. That's where flashcards and banners and things like that have templates. but if you really want to work on with MS Word, you have to do it manually by configuring the page setup.

just try Publisher...

hope that helps...
