What all this talk about microsoft bitting for yahoo and something about news.corps? whats the deal here

Yahoo said no so they are attempting a hostel take over. They will send out proxies to Yahoo share holders trying to get MSFT people on the board of directors. Yahoo has already set up benefit packages for people who will be fired.

Now it's about hostile takeovers fight!
Microsoft did make a bid, but Yahoo rejected it. Microsoft is now, apparently, considering it's options. There were rumours that News Corp would make an increased offer, but I believe News Corp denied this.
