When I try to print a document for Word (by the way, it's office 2000) it comes up as an illegal operation and shuts down. I recently just deleted everything out of my computer and started over, and then installed microsoft office. i used to have the same version of office on here, and it still worked. Also other office programs are fine. The only program that doesn't cooperate is Word. If anyone has any idea's what's going on please let me know. Thanks :]

Make sure you are printing on the correct printer - go to file and print instead of just hitting the print icon. If this doesn't work or it is the correct printer uninstall and reinstall office.

Uninstall Office. Reinstall and see if it works. Sounds like a dll file was deleted when you did the purge.
re format your hard drive and re install everything and lastly but not least do any system updates from window (microsoft.com)
