Microsoft Office, two editions?

Hi, I have a question regarding Microsoft Office.

I have two different editions, one from 1997 in Swedish and one from 2007 in English. I was wondering if it is safe/ok to install both versions so that I have both languages or if that will cause a conflict on/in the system by doing so?!

Please help.

Thank you

I have both office 2003 and 2007 on my computer, and i have yet to have a problem...

why not just stick with the 07 version, but select the option of swedish? I do not use my 07 that often, but i think they should have an option such as that...

it depends.

1. are you using vista, if so then 2007 is the only version you can install, as 97 is designed on the original windows format which was 95-me.

2. 97 runs on the dos format which vista does not support, however under windows xp you should be able to run both, although there is a high possibility they may conflict.
You can install both, but install the office97 first, then install the 2007... When installing the 2007 version, you will have to pick a different directory, not the default directory to install to, otherwise it will only be able to "upgrade" the 97 to 2007
