Microsoft word problems?

On my microsoft word the page width is wider then normal it just takes up the whole screen.I need to know how to get it back to normal. Also whenever I press enter a dotted line appears across the screen.

How do I get my page screen back to normal size and turn off the dotted lines?

To fix the page width, click on view on the toolbar, then print layout.

As far as the dotted lines go, probably a border thing. Click on insert, borders, and make sure that there aren't any borders clicked on. Otherwise, I have no idea what you did.

Sounds like your page view is set to normal. Try going to the View menu, and selecting Web Layout or Print Layout. Then select the Show/Hide icon from the standard toolbar. It looks like a backwards letter P.
Your page size is off. On one of the tools bars at the top you should see a percentage with a drop-down menu. Select the percentage that looks best for your monitor settings.
