Microsoft Excel Help, Histograms??

I'm having a little trouble with my histograms on microsoft excel and i was wondering how to fix it. I set up the Bin #s for a series of data as follows:

0%

60%

70%

80%

90%

100%

I selected the data percentages that i wished to appear on the histogram and put them under input range.

I then put in my bin #s as the cells they appear in and select a random cell for my output range.

After that, i select the chart option at the bottom and hit create.

The problem lies in the graph and the numbers. For some reason, it throws of the data in a way that it ONLY puts 0%'s between the bins 0% and 60%, and puts anything between 0% and 60%, i.e. 5%, 42% and 50% between 60% and 70% on the bins and on the graph and so on.

I'm not sure how to fix this and was wondering if there is a way to fix this. I'm almost positive im entering my data correctly, having worked with excel before, but perhaps there is something in the equation i need to tweak to get it to work. Any help is appreciated

You need to get rid of the 0% in your bins. The way that is treated is that anything less than 0% would go in that bin. Then, anything between 0% and 60% would go into the second bin, and so on.

The first bin listed holds the count for the items that are that number or less. So, either get rid of the 0% or put in something like 50% as the first bin. That would give you everything between 0% and 50%.
