Microsoft XP Pro SP2 OEM or Retail?

I want to purchase Microsoft XP Professional SP2, but I am not sure which to buy, should I buy the Retail version or the OEM version, what is the difference between the two?

Its the same operating system, but there is no retail packaging, like a manual and plastic box. There is also no phone support for it. The serial numbers are on the outside of the little envelope, so retailers, like WWW.NEWEGG.COM cannot accept them back, because the serial number is visable on the package. The retail box has the serial number inside, and also comes with 90 days of support.

Also, I bought one OEM version and was able to install it on all three computers I have. When you cannot activate, do the phone activation option, and when they ask say that its the same computer you installed it on and that you are just reinstalling because you formatted your drive b/c of viruses.

Works every time.

Nothing as far as the operating system goes.

OEM versions can't be returned to the shop once opened.

Some people will say the OEM can't be installed more than once, but that is bunk. I have an OEM version of Vista and I use it as a master to install on all by clients computers. I use their product ID key, and provide them with an origional un-pened Vista package. XP is the same.
Buy Linux.
oem isn't suppose to be transferred to different computers and it doesn't come with the retail box or manual so it's usually a little bit cheaper.

retail is the boxes you usually see in the stores.
