Microsoft word help??

i use to have microsoft word but when my computer crashed it wasn't on it anymore would it be on the windows installation cd???

Microsoft word help??norton

With a lot of variables unanswered by your question, I can only speculate, but here is my best guess:

If the computer came with restore CDs, odds are that one has the operating system and drivers and that there will be another one (or potentially several) labeled something like "Application Recovery Discs". This is what you are looking for. If Word was originally part of the computer, it will be on one of these discs.

I will say, however, that it is highly unlikely that anything other than a trial-version of Word, or full version of Microsoft Works, came pre-installed on your computer. If you do own a legal copy of word that you had registered, I would suggest contacting Microsoft tech support. They will be able to verify your ownership of the product and make arrangments to get you a new copy.

no...

but i will always advice you to store your all importaant data....

not that drive where windows is installed...

so that for future if you change your windows you will have the data of other drive....:)
No, its a separate product.
No, Word will not be on the Windows installation CD

The Windows installation CD will have the Operating System (whatever the OS is, e.g., 2000, XP, Vista).

Microsoft Word will be on a separate disc or on the Microsoft Office disc.
depends on your CD. if it is a rebuild CD (rom someone other than dell) and it was on your laptop to begin with then it should be there

if it is a standard windows install CD then it wont. Word is an appllication and not an operating system, word needs windows, windows does not need word

if you had a copy it will most likely be on another CD somewhere
No, but if you can't afford Microsoft Word go to openoffice.org
