Moving Microsoft Office to other Hard Drive?

So we'll start with how my laptop is configured. It has two separate hard drives preinstalled on it. The C: drive is the one with all of the programs preloaded onto it and the D: drive is the data drive with files and music and vidoes and such. My C: drive is maxxed out and always gives me low disk space messages, but my D: drive has a TON of room.

I would like to move some of the programs (specifically Microsoft Office 2003) from my C: drive to my D: drive to free up some space. Is this possible? and how can i do this? Would Copy and pasting the program files work or is there another way? If you need more info please ask.

Go to Control Panel-%26gt;Add Remove Programs and choose uninstall office. Then get your office Cd and reinstall it do D:

You can't move files yourself because Office has thousands of system files, and they are installed in many different places.

uninstall and reinstall.

when reinstall, remember to choose different drive .
Why not upgrade your C to a larger drive?

Regardles the easiest way to take care of this would be using commercial software like Partition magic and Norton Ghost
You would have to uninstall it and then re install it.
