Importing mails from outlook express to microsoft outlook?

whenever i import mails from outlook express(.dbx files) to microsoft outlook (.pst files), some of the mails do not get imported whether they were in inbox or some other folders under inbox....when i say import in microsoft outlook, obviously, it does not ask me choose folder(s) rather it directly starts importing ......but how do i get the mails which are there in outlook express but not imported to microsoft outlook.

Give export from outlook express it will ask you export to outlook that's it.

easy option is try forwarding those emails to your email address and dont open them in outlook express. close outlook express and open your inbox in outlook. there you are.. but this is a lazy solution i guess.. if you want to get everything in outlook everyday, then hmmm.. ??

EDIT : sorry, didn't read your question carefully. Now i change my answer.

If you run through the wizard carefully, you should not not getting all mails in your inbox. Try again.

And if you are not getting new emails to MS Outlook, you need to set the MS OUTLOOK as the...DEFAULT... email handler. Try look it up in Tools-Options-there is a check box-be default email handler.
