Can Microsoft Word 2007 be made to work like earlier versions?

I have recently bought the new Microsoft Office Suite. I really dislike the new look. I have no idea where to find anything and now am limited to the commands that I know the short cuts to. Is there any way that I can make it work like the older versions of Office. In particular, I am keen to work with an older style Word. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I can't even find the help menu in Word.

Thanks heaps for any assistance you can provide.

Word 2007 does not have a "classic menu" option built in, but there are a number of third-party addins available such as http://pschmid.net/office2007/ribboncust... and http://in.geocities.com/shahshaileshs/me... .

As others have mentioned, Word 2007 Help can be accessed via the little question mark button near the upper right corner of the Word window or by pressing the F1 key on your keyboard.

It gets easier

Take one problem at a time, the solutions snowball into learning more

Help = F1 same as every other program (I know no button)
The new interface is very different. You simply need to learn the new interface.
I know what you mean. I got Word 2007 when it first came out. After a month or so I finally got used to it and actually like it better!
